Missy and Kayley did an outstanding job selling our house in 11 days. But it’s after the contract when you realize how valuable they are when getting all the paperwork and inspections finalized. They keep you informed and help you navigate through the entire selling process!

Missy and her team went above and beyond, to not only help us purchase our dream home, but also sell our current house. She was never put off by our constant, sometimes silly questions and took the time to help us understand everything. The team was very professional and always available.

I worked with Kayley Tylman and team L’Hoste to purchase our house recently and it was an absolute pleasure! We are a military family and we were buying our home sight unseen (scary, I know) so we could move our children and get them settled in to school before it started. I was nervous but once I talked to Kayley I had COMPLETE faith and trust in her. She was always looking out for our best interest and was always advocating for us. She toured many homes and we would video chat or she would send a video. She would video the neighborhood also so we could get a feel for the area. Although I’ve purchased three homes, this was my first time selling a home and Missy’s team made it a breeze! I really enjoyed working with Missy L’Hoste and Kayley Tylman. Not only did we find the right home on the water, but we feel like we made our first real friends in the Ocean View area. Most of the day to day was managed by Kayley, and my wife and I were both impressed by how professional, responsive and attentive she was. Moving day was also closing day, and I had the wrong time in mind for closing. Kayley heard me mention the closing time, realized later I had it wrong and immediately texted me to make sure I was there at the proper time. She and Missy have both been really good for recommendations for everything from Doctors to Restaurants. I highly recommend this team!

I was able to work with Missy and her team when a family member sold their home and bought a new home. Missy helped them sell and buy their home and I have to say the experience was efficient and seamless. I helped my sister in law with the home loan for her purchase and time was so crucial. They needed funds from the sale of their current home in order to purchase a new home so all the pieces had to come together perfectly. Needless to say we were able to close early and this wouldn't have been the case if Missy, Sean and their L'Hoste team weren't on it. They communicated every step of the way and they were able to get my sister in law her new home at a price where she already had equity upon the purchase (per appraisal). With such an experience I've decided to use her team to help me with a purchase of a few homes near my sister in law! Missy's Team made all the difference in selling my house. If she had not been directly involved I would not have gotten Top Dollar for my house. My Renters left the house in terrible condition. She took charge and made sure all of the repairs were made in record time to support all viewings and preparations for closing. I initially picked this realtor because I liked there website which allowed you to search by the view (Ocean view, Lake view etc.) you wanted as well as the standard location and number of bedrooms. They were extremely responsive to our needs and utilized technology well in order to speed up the process. If we mentioned something we were concerned about it was checked on. My husband and I were very impressed with the team and in particular Holly our realtor. She listens and is very patient and knowledgeable. Missy helped us to sell my mother's 1970 style ranch home. This was a very emotional move that went very smoothly, thanks to the professionalism, thoroughness and caring of Missy and her team. The house was 40+ years old and sold within 3 months (during the off season and a down market). We attribute that good fortune to the selling price Missy talked through with us using comps that she readily shared, the wonderful photography that they use as part of their advertising, the many different webs sites they use to list homes and the personal relationship Missy (a native of the Tidewater area) has with so many other showing agents in the area. I actually didn’t know where to begin with sharing our home search experience with Sean and Missy. First of all our home search was not an easy one. We had a very specific location of need. Also being 1 1/2 hrs away and only afternoon appointments was another issue. Sean was absolutely amazing! He showed us the perfect priced homes that took in all of our specific needs. We finally found the one! Thru the offer, acceptance, inspection, walkthrough and closing Sean was always available for questions and direction. I knew he would always answer my phone calls or texts. I have been a Mortgage Loan Officer for 14 years and I have worked with Missy L’Hoste and her team for the past 5 years. Sometimes in life you have to go through hell to make your way to heaven. When I decided to sell my home I didn't there would ever be any issues I thought it would be a smooth transition. I trusted someone I thought I knew to sell my home. This was one of the biggest mistakes i could possibly make. After four months of a battle between a buyer that never had any intentions of buying I fired my realtor and started my search for a new one. There were many interviews on this day and Only one person really stood out. Missy L'hoste. She was a boss. That's exactly what I needed at that time. We sat for a while and I was convinced that she had what it took to make things happen. Missy is focused and determined to reach her end goal no matter what it takes. We bumped heads along the way but in the end I learned from her and she learned from me. A day is wasted without a lessoned learned. We were more then broker and seller/buyer we were the missing pieces we needed in one another's life. Missy sold my home for top dollar. The search began for me to buy. This was very hard for me do. Things fell through on the mortgage which caused my delay. Through it all Missy was there. I got my dream home and couldn't be happier. I called Missy when my friend asked me to help him sell his Norfolk beach condo because he was permanently relocating to his childhood home in North Carolina, which he was renovating. He had no time to prepare his condo for sale, so just wanted to sell it as-is. From the day I called, Missy and her team worked non-stop, hiring repairmen and contacting everyone necessary once a buyer was found (within days.) Missy emailed me almost daily with updates, and negotiated a price that was far above what he would have made with a quick cash sale. My friend was amazed at how quickly she got his place sold, as was I. I wouldn’t recommend anyone BUT Missy and her team to my friends when selling or looking for a home.
